Your new company:

Our client, a restaurant based in Wexford, is seeking to add a Chef to their team to work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef to join an organisation that offers a superb work/life balance, with the same days off every week and an early finish on Sundays. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Your new role:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting meals to the required standard
  • Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen at all times
  • Ensuring items needed are readily stocked and available for use
  • Minimising wastage through efficient portion and food expenditure control
  • Supporting the Head Chef/Sous Chef at all times

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility with regards to working days and hours
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude
