Overview

Our client, an energy solution company now have a requirement for a full time Energy Analyst to join the team based in their Little Island branch in Cork. The Successful candidate will have previous experience as an analyst, ideally within the utility or energy sectors. Will have excellent technical skills including strong analytical and problem-solving capability. Most importantly,will need to be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, customers and stakeholders and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills along with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

Your new role

  • Will need to build relationships with the energy suppliers
  • Oversee the tender process from start to finish including analysing the pricing. Comparing the results and identifying and flagging any potential issues
  • Ensure regular contact with the clients. This including providing them with bill reviews and answering any questions related to their account
  • Acquire a working knowledge of the energy sector and keep up to date with any changes in charges and pricing
  • Build effective relationships with external clients, through email and face to face meetings

 

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Minimum Honours Degree Energy Related
  • Graduate to 2 years’ experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, with a particular focus on Excel
  • Strong business acumen – ability to understand the needs and concerns of client stakeholders and colleagues, and respond promptly and effectively to client requests
  • An ability to multi-task & work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to respond with professionalism in verbal as well as written communication
  • Ability to plan and organise multiple projects/ work activities with all relevant stakeholders/ cross functional
